Sore throat and cough that won't go away.

For the past few weeks I've had a sore throat and been coughing up phlegm. I've tried sore throat sweets, cough medicine and cold tablets. That got rid of the worst of it, but the coughing continued, still with the phlegm and redness around my throat, not quite at my tonsils. I tried this sore throat remedy using onion, lemon and chilli, making a gargle. That seemed to calm it down but it's back again. Every time I breathe out my breath seems to catch and I start coughing again. It's worse in the morning and just before I go to bed at night. My throat chakra is fine, so why can't I shift this cold? I never get ill.

Sorry to hear about your sore throat and cough. Is there something you are needing to say to someone that you aren't saying ?

Hot tea with German Brandy helps at night with the coughing, has to be German Brandy, Aasbach is a good one.

Not as far as I'm aware, no. My throat chakra doesn't feel icky.

That's good, then just enjoy the tea and brandy for a good night's sleep

* just a tiny bit of brandy and of course, only if one is old enough to drink, forgot to mention that part !
