struggling to connect with guides~

Good luck! I agree about letting go of the urgency - I think the more mental stress you are putting on yourself, the more difficult it will be for your guides to commuicate with you. A relaxed frame of mind is key :)

Wow...I am really struggling to connect with my guides. I have been to see several individuals for assistance. Only one was able to give me any info. She expressed that a female angel, very soft woman has been calling to me often. A powerful Native American man has been with me since birth, protecting me, due to the absence of my biological father. And then, she told me a dog was my third. She believed it to be an Irish setter.
I practice a nature based spirituality...and am very open minded. I have been blessed many times over. I feel as though I am being ungrateful.
However, I can not stop the urgency. Its truly unsettling , I don't like the pressure I have put upon myself. And, why now is this so important?
I suppose it could be a lesson on patience...

Any guidance and support given would truly be appreciated : )

Yes, I agree ..patience.. I remember the first time I connected with my guide.. I asked what his name was and he told me.. then I said telepathically show me what you look like? and he told me no... But, that was many messages/teachings.. Im not in control over them and they are helping us.. and made me patient because really they can come in any form they choose depending on the message they are conveying so it would make sense not to get caught up in form..lol.. I would say just meditate and attempt connecting with your guides and they will show/reveal things more to you.
