I have some malachite and it gives off this earthy energy. When I first started using it (with tiger's eye) I decided to change my life and begin living without regrets or secrets. For this reason, I do agree with the common belief that it is a transformation stone.
I've heard it shouldn't be worn when you are negative, as it amplifies every type of energy, but I'm not 100% sure of this. It looks beautiful enough that most people don't think it's odd to have it around. I find it somewhat grounding, but I guess it has more to do with its balancing qualities. |

Wore some Tiger's eye and carried my Herkimer diamond..At first, I wanted Dumortierite but I chose the Herkimer because of its strong energy. At first, I felt completely energized, and I felt as if I were flying with the seagulls as I walked to my bus stop.
Eventually, I got very distracted, random and giggly (although this may just be my empathy). It was this odd feeling of intoxication, although I have never consumed any intoxicating substance. Guess I should have chosen the Dumortierite!
