Teiksma, you do have a "Spiritual family". One day you will meet them, and know. It will be a happy day. Maybe they will be various species, and possibly had physical Being in other places instead of Earth. There may be one or two you have known on Earth too. There may be some members who don't come into physical being...
It is completely possible to 'shapeshift' -in the astral body, if you need to or really want to, with a lot of concentration and focus. But you may find that you don't particularly need to.
