Hi Rumar I refuse to be knocked out. I can handle that without being knocked out I'm goign to ask for oral antianxiety. I had all four of my wisdom teeth taken out when I was 20 without being knocked out but with oral antianxiety. I would prefer to know what's going on, I hate the feeling of being knocked out because I would have less control over what happens if that makes sense. See I'm terrified of being "knocked out" I've always told my husband that if I ever have to go thru surgery I'm going to be a mess. I'm going to have major issues and that they will have to give me a mega dose of IV xanax before the surgery becuase knowing me I'll get up off the table and leave hte hospital with the gown on showing my *** off and not giving a damn
Yeah I have to go to the dentist, yeah my husband is the one who is now taking control and he's going to find a good dentist who takes our plan and who is sensitive to my needs....OMG I'm going to be SO nervous OMG thinking about it makes me want to SCREAM.

Anti-anxiety is like the laughing gas, right? Or is it just a sedative?
I had an IV to knock me out because I freak out with the idea of metal tools in me and I trust them enough to work on me (that's what they're paid for, if they screw up, you can sue if they refuse to try to help you out).
Good to know that your husband takes care of you, not just financially and in the relationship but also emotionally and mentally. It's great to know there's working relationships this day and age as strong as that.

Rumar thankyou yes my husband and I support one another when we need to. Ie his blood pressure is high so he needs to be on medications so I've been encouraging him to go to the gym and eat healthy and he's listening to me. I love Dan so much I can't explain, if I ever loose him...god forbid...I'd be lost.
Yeah I mean something like taking a xanax before I go in to see my dentist I cannot think or stand being knocked out because in my view I'm loosing more control over the situation which will make me more nervous and more prone to avoiding getting a cap done.
