It is great reading your posts regarding Kali! I was wondering about Kali and her depictions. Looking at the pictures at first glance could be rather intimidating and daunting, but looking at it care fully, you can see he many symbolism. It looks like showing an example on how to detach from ego as well as other aspects that keep us binded or blinded..

The aspect of time seems to be the point where if we are stuck doing the earthly pleasures (pleasures in senses, ego, etc..), we would be stuck in earthly existence as what we enjoy. In what could be the ever repeating birth and death loop.. And furthermore, not in tuned and reaching our higher self.

Also, like the comment by fundaymoon regarding living in the ever present moment.

No kali is not an evil infact kali is termed as the dark energy which is even beyond time.
Kali is the goddess of time.
