Please help, I feel uneasy when away from my boyfriend
Hey,
I’ve been dating my boyfriend for a year and four months. Everything is great when I’m with him like we get along amazingly and all that, ( although I do feel this way sometimes when I’m with him but very rarely)but when I’m not with him I feel so sick and my heart feels weird and my stomach is in knots. I really don’t understand this because no matter what I do this feeling doesn’t go away, I’ve never had this with anyone else or with any previous boyfriends. So what is this?
Any advice is much appreciated.
Thank you :)

I think it may be best to rationalise what you can about your relationship - almost nothing may be possible but it could be worth a try - looking at each aspect of the relationship and, as honestly as you can, come to terms with it. Writing it down may help.
The following aren't any reflection on you in particular but you could ask yourself:
Am I an insecure person in (intimate) relationships?
Am I insecure with this relationship? If you think this the case you'll have further questions....
Is it because you think he's attractive to others? A bit of a flirt?
Are you worried about him "indulging" with other women (if it includes a sexual aspect)?
What in particular about him do you miss?
How do you fancy your chances with other men, should something untoward happen?
What is it you most like about him?
What do you most dislike about him?
And so on. It means getting into as impartial a frame of mind as you can and a determination to be honest then contemplating in quiet, meditative-like situation. It could be that you feel this heavy-heartedness when you're alone - which is the best time to sit down and ask "Why?" Journal it, if you're of a mind to.
Wishing you all the best in turning this into an easy, warm relationship even when apart. You declare your age in your profile and you have lots of life to wade your way through!
