So, do you believe that God hates sin?

Hi, I just got done reading the 'Jesus didn't die for our sins' thread.

Who believes here that God hates? (period)

Who believes here that God dwells in a 'place' of duality?

Raise your hands...
And why or why not do you hang onto this concept?

Who here believes this Infinite, Brilliant, Loving Being would need
a sacrifice of any kind?

Thought I would throw that in while I was at it.
Thanks!

Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.
Meditate unceasingly, that you may quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery. ~Paramahansa's Guru's Guru

Yes God hates sin.
When satan tempted Jesus in the wilderness at his weakest state( 40 days fasting) he asked for Jesus to do an act of worship to him. He wanted Jesus to sin, thus-- sin = worship to satan. Sin would have ended Jesus quest for the ransom sacrifice. But God sent his best.

i don't believe, I know because Jehovah God shows us what debauch acts of humans, will cause us to be destroyed, if we don't change and stop ,(Colossians 3:5-6 Therefore put to death your members which are on the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry. Because of these things the wrath of God is coming upon the sons of disobedience). and concerning your questions, what do you believe?

God can not hate.
Look at Christ
He is the 2nd person of the trinity. He is the part of God who becomes physical or “human” when he needs to.

Jesus came to suffer to show the world that LOVE is more powerful than fear and hate.

Jesus never hated anyone. Jesus couldn’t sin because part of him was God, but as a man he could experience the “consequence of sin” as if he did sin. And that makes him a brother to all souls who incarnate.

Sin has its natural consequence in the natural world. You sow what you reap. No hate from God

I've been waiting patiently for more hardcore die hard Christians to answer hoping for some type of consensus before offering my much less hardcore own Christian perspective.

Jehova's Witnesses have answered.

As well as Taneli- Welcome to Sf Taneli, and Amilius both of whoms religious preference I know not of.

My personal worship is my own.

And I can not speak for those hardcore Christians.

My personal view is that God does not hate anything nor anyone.

Those who disagree can conjecture, argue, and ask how I draw my conclusion all day long.

But am I obligated to answer them, or anyone, or their questions?

But yes that is my own view on the matter.

That God is not capable of such hatreds.

Such emotions are a matter of the human heart, imo.

SaturninePluto, hi.

Now, people can quote the Bible all day long, of course...
it says that they believe what is written there...so it answers my question
that God dwells in duality to them, when actually He does not.
He just doesn't.
Bold of me to say that ...but, I see I am not alone in this realization.

If I would stay for a moment with the metaphor God, then I would say, if this God is the creator of everything, and would be capable of hate, I would say he had to hate him or herself.

Exactly
If you feel hate comes from God then it's caused by your hatred inside. Your fault NOT Gods.....
