Has anyone met a guide in their dream?

I'm quite interested to know if anyone has any experiences to share about meeting a guide. Is it possible to have a conversation with your guide in your dream? How do you know it's really them?

I have met my angel guide quite a few times now. Whenever I am confused or try to take a wrong step, my angel guide shows me the correct way in my dreams.
Sometimes when I am confused about a situation, I just think of it before sleeping. While sleeping, a bright light shows me the correct path of my situation and I can even have a conversation with it. Most of the times I get my answers, however, sometimes I do struggle hard for correct path.

Never in my dreams but I have meditated for the sake of finding my spirit guide, and I have found them and had conversations with them, sometimes for hours without realizing it. But it is fully possible, and highly likely to meet them in your dreams

I had a dream with a guide once during a very difficult time. I am pretty sure it was my guide though it could have been my soul. He really didn't state who he was but he was there to give me very specific information. I as well had an angel dream during this time when things got pretty rough. She gave me a bit of advice and a brief moment of peace but not sure she was a guide but just someone sent to help me keep going, again she could have been a guide or could have been my soul but she was more made of light as opposed to the one I sensed was a guide. This is not common for me though and mostly it is just aspects of me in my dreams. Can't say that I have been successful in making it happen upon will. They showed up at times of need. But I strongly attest to the belief, ask and you shall receive. If you want to meet up with a guide ask for this before you go to bed at night. Ask as often as is necessary until you get the results you are looking for. Your soul wants you to ask for help so it's not like you are going against any rules. Ask ask ask. Best of luck. I might try myself. Could still use some more advice.

Thank you for your answers. I was wondering this because I am trying to lucid dream again (I have only done it once before) and when I succeed I am going to try and ask my guides to join me.

Michelle, I have recently had a dream with angels and also a dream where I met my self as an old lady! (Not lucid though) I do think guides come to you in your dreams in times of need. I don't know much about my guides though.. who they are, what they look like, anything, so I really hope one day I will find out more.

I have met one guide...but I've talked about it a lot here.
She was a very 'no-nonsense' person.
