You don't hear a voice. You formulate your question and immediately a thought, the answer, pops up into your mind and you put it yourself in words, or images, because that's the way you think. Most of the times, the answer comes before you completely finish formulating your question. Don't rationalize or adjust it. Remember the first formulation that popped out into your mind.

Persist! The answers will come. It just means that you didn't get even in a trance at all. The more you try it, the easier it becomes. You can achieve it just by gently relaxing your body and your mind. Let he answers come to you. expect an answer, but don't wonder about what it will be. Persist!

In my experience, and I've done this for years, many times, the answer comes immediately, most of the times before you finish formulating your question.

When you din't get an immediate answer, reformulate your question to be clearer and require a shorter response, maybe just an yes / no. Or, break your question in smaller parts if you can.

You can only find out who you are or who you're supposed to be up to this point in your life. Ongoing experiences will augment how you flow so... well, if you'll excuse me putting it this way, I hope to find out what and who I'm supposed to be all along when at or very near the end.

It hasn't been too easy a task: a lot of work and facing up to things I didn't want to at times. Qabalistic pathworking has been the most useful tool but the work is time consuming and takes a lot of practice. Its advantage is that it will reveal your personal truth (or truths) as you go.

Lorelyen,

What is pathworking and what is qabalistic and what is qabalistic pathworking in your own words?

How to know?
What bothers you? That's one reason...to get over it, you morons.

Did that bother you?
Exactly.

Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.

In one 'self help' kind of seminar/wokshop I attended, the practical prescription offered was to visualize/place one's problem(s) in front of a mirror, then visualize its mirror reflection, meaning 'opposite', then smash the 'mirror' and, thereby symbolically banishing said negatives (as 'problems'), only psychospiritual focus on ('pray', to actualize) said positive 'opposite' (idea?, condition?, whatever) from then on.

This goes along with Lorelyn's proposition that "You can only find out who you are or who you're supposed to be up to this point in your life," I think.

Its not about peeps having to just 'get over it' in the 'tough it out' sense. methinks, though watching/hearing someone just 'wallow' in their 'problems' instaed of engaging in positive process sure can be exasperating!

What bothers me is not why am I on this 'plane', what bothers me is why am I not an elephant. I'm not talking genes or DNA here - and I know my parents were humans - but what have 'I' done to not be a dog, cat or hyena?

Hello Wonderer -

A excerpt from my book (there's a lot more dealing with the subject in there should this interest you) which presents a cogent (IMO) worldview which relates to the issue of why, individually and collectively, are what we are, IOW what have we. individually and collectively, "done" to "be" what we are:

"You may do so by yourself or with the help of understanding others. Either way, it is essential that you register and keep being conscious of the ramifications of the fact that all that the world is and all that transpires within it is the cumulative result of what has, from moment to moment since time began, been attitudinally entertained and intentionally purposed*. What you encounter in Life and what you ‘naturally’ think, feel and do (or fail to), at any given point, is the result of prior psychospiritual program*ming—that of antecedent others, your own till the present, and that of those you’ve been or still are involved with and related to. Therefore, though all things not contrary to Life Itself are possible, they are not necessarily so in short order. As any*one wishing to be an artist must do with his or her medium, to be creative, you must learn to work with the impetus of history, as it pertains to you and those around you in particular."

[Footnote*: "The aspects of reality encompassed by attitude and intention, as I use such terms, are so multi-dimensional and interactive that they defy definitive description, especially in short order. Let me just say that, operationally, 'attitude' psychospiritually sets the parameters into which Life may flow, and 'intention' psychospiritually propels It towards the aimed for goal. This is not vain speculation. It is because attitude and intention are supremely consequential that those who know best and care most advise that they be concordantly combined and felicitously focused."
