I was just aware that you joined the forum recently so welcome to the forum.
You are welcome. I am glad my explanation was satisfactory for you. You are correct about people meditating for a purpose, or more importantly for a benefit. The only meditation I do is being aware/conscious of the eternal right here and right now present moment, in the eternal right here and right now present moment as much as I can, from when I wake up to when I go to sleep.

Thanks for the welcome! I am not just new to these forums, but also to the type of spirituality we are exploring together. I have only been meditating for about 15 months.
I'm glad you brought up continual meditation as a way of life. I was thinking about my comments and hoping I wasn't misleading anyone. Although it is my goal for every moment to be a meditation, I don't feel I'm there yet. I mostly feel like I'm under the supervision of ego. I observe everything I do.
