Reinforcing Affirmations and Increasing Their Power
Hey guys, I've been a huge proponent of affirmations as a result of my spiritual journey as well as the mentorship program that reinforced the power of positive thought and affirmations.
As of late, things have been super duper hard, and I've been trying to use affirmations to get out of the negative thought loops that I've had but at this point it feels as if they're not doing much at all!
Do you guys have any pointers? :)
EDIT:
I thought about the prospects of putting action behind the affirmations because action is the part that goes after thought! Would like ideas on practical applications of this if possible

Look up Neville Goddard!
You can find free online many of his lectures, in written format, also some on youtube. He not only gives a formula for manifestation, but he also explains why, convincingly.

Hi,
That habit of going into negative thought loops can be hard to break. I suggest constructing more positive thoughts for each negative one and when you notice you are enterig a negative sequence, switch your thinking to it.
Learning how to manage your thinking and emotions is not easy however it is quite worth while once you have accomplished that particular empowering action.

Hey
Whenever you have a negative thought, just say ‘Am I alive ? ‘
Get grounded observe things arounf you and be in now.
Eckart Tolle online videos might help you.

Thank you John! Definitely true and it’s a work in process to switch the negatives back for the positives but I did it before so I’ll be able to do it again!

Wow I really like that! A lot of negative thoughts can be related to the past or the future but this is a way of bringing yourself back to the present and after a quick test I could definitely feel it cut off that negative thought loop right quick! My hot appreciated!
