How do I know if I love someone unconditionally?

Like, what is it meant to feel like? To you, what does it feel like or what does it mean?

I feel in my heart that I love one of my soulmates unconditionally. I am not in a relationship with him - he's not my partner or anything like that, but for many reasons I do believe he's a soulmate. He's also an extended family member. I am just wondering what loving someone unconditionally feels like for other people.

Its love without conditions. Its changing your childs butt at 3am because you dont want them to get a rash, its letting go when they need to put their feet on solid ground, its looking through their eyes, its loving them exactly as they are and nothing needs to change, you dont have to agree but thats why you love them. Its not something that can be forced. If its forced its not unconditional, its seeing their demons and feeling like they suit your own naturally. Its the most powerful feeling on the planet, and i always thought pain was. Its self sacrificing for their benefit, like a year of waking up 7 times a night to meet their needs (i would do this for tf too). Its working your *** off for a long time so that there is even a slight possibility that it will make them happy aswell as yourself... i could go on..

people currently on the planet are simply wishing to "get along" and that
they're disinterested in causing distress for anyone else.

unconditional love is not based upon anything external. it springs forth

Ask yourself if theres anything they could ever possibly do to change your love for them. If they decided to kill you or harm you, would you still love them the same?

I wished all my life for unconditional love but it's hard to love unconditionally for stealing organs from children and having unconditional love for a Freemason pedophile. *Shrug* not going to happen. Everyone wishes to be happy, my happiness comes from being the change that's needed in this world.

think of any expectations you have from them. Imagine these expectations not being met. If that idea is okay with you, then it is unconditional love.

Unconditional love is love without expectations, a "no matter what" kind of love and it is the one that most mothers feel for their children especially when they are still babies.

Unconditional love is not for someone but for everyone. only in this case the unconditional state is met.

When the devil tells you this, and you believe it, then it happens.
But not because they are doing it, but you see it because of your belief in it.
And more subtler belief behind all this is that God can create something, what is not perfect.
And even more hidden belief behind the former belief is that God is powerless to purify what humans thinks unperfect.

Yeah, i know, God told me that the devil exists only in my thoughts, so it can't be true, in Truth.

So what happens here is, if you take the whole, split it in parts, and love one part but hate the other, then the other must be evil, and will act so.

But if you hate a part which God loves, and wants to be healed, then who is the Evil one ?

Its a tricky answer.

And if you knew God, you would know that he can heal everything you see. Instantly, if you let him.
