Am I visualizing incorrectly?

Every time I try to imagine my third eye chakra it's purple, and my crown chakra is white. Is this wrong?

Chakras do have a specific colour that's attuned to them, but it works in a similar way to the colours of a rainbow. Which is to say, that pure spiritual energy is white, and it breaks down into specific colours as it passes through the relevant pathway; the heart chakra takes the green spectrum, and the third eye takes the indigo spectrum, for example. As an obscure metaphore, your shirt is red because it accepts all colours except red (which is reflected out as visible light). Chakras accept one colour and let the rest of the energy continue.

If you're intuitively visualising a colour where it shouldn't be, it's potentially a sign of an imbalance. You might find some benefit in doing some meditations on clearing out and opening up all your chakras.

Yeah I thought it might be since I'm pretty sure it's not suppose to be a giant flower that covers my entire body either. Thank you for the advice, I shall keep working at it! :)
