*sigh* Such is life

I had to end a few friendships recently, and it's not fun, but it's for the best.
The friendships have either grown stagnant or had nothing to offer anymore.

There's that saying (for want of a better word)

"If there are people who don't contribute to your life, then remove them"

This is the case. One of the friendships i ended, was 26 years old.
This guy and I are just too different, and although we could talk about a few things, there were things i couldn't bare anymore.

The time was right to end it. I always end my messages with "I wish you all the best for the future"

Now a new opportunity arises to make new friends.

Such is life.

It takes bravery to end a 26 year old relationship. I hope the other guy was not taken by surprise and he was able to take it in his stride and I wish him good luck for his journey further.
