I wonder what we learn from the pain of life? What does the death of loved-ones teach us? What do having illnesses like dementia give to us as beings? Sometimes it's hard to understand.

Huh?
Not to be insensitive, I only object to 'have to".
I am sorry if you have just witnessed a loved one die painfully. :(

But, like Abraham-Hicks says...."Happy, happy, happy happy...dead."

Dementia...
It's pretty clear to watch those with Dementia pass...it's so much easier for them!
What a gift...not having fear...and withdrawing from this place slowly beforehand.
However, immediately afterwards they (and severe Alz-'ers patients) have appeared to family and
they are as
sharp as knife, playing jokes and happy...funny how they are so clear on the Other Side!

Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.
Meditate unceasingly, that you may quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery. ~Paramahansa's Guru's Guru

Not having fear? Are you kidding? Dementia gives some people great distress and fear.
