Visiting others in heir dreams

I recently had a dream where my late friends father gave me an answer to something I was panicking about! Another friend of mine said perhaps it was his higher self came to me in my dream state.

I've been told that Scorpios do most of their work in their dream state and have been trying to do that since (to no avail)
Last night I thought about visiting my dad in his dreams as he is under a lot of stress and lives far away from me. However, I instead dreamed about my mother that I confronted her about something that does need to be spoken about. I have a very strained/ awkward relationship with her and don't see her much. I am wondering if I my HS visited her in her dream. How would I know?

it may help if you were to think of yourself as similar to a multi-faceted gem.
while your conscious mind facet is busy looking in one direction, you have
other portions of yourself looking at other things. the "work" done by your
HS might occur at any time; perhaps completely independent from conscious
cues. for you to want to provide aid to your dad is a more significant signal
to your HS (in my estimation), since it is heart directed.
for your conscious mind (while in a sleep state) to be directed to your mom is
suggesting to me that that is the area you might achieve the greatest results
through applying conscious efforts in easing tensions. [since everything is
connected.]
perhaps your conscious mind can release judgments held against your mom,
specifically through that "does need to be spoken about" incident/circumstance.

'raise your vibration' to match that of your HS in order to commune and discover
what efforts have been made on your behalf, and to the welfare of all concerned.

Is the person/father deceased or living (that gave you the answer)? If deceased, it's possible you met on the astral plane (not exactly a dream, but astral projection).

Yes, you can visit others (dead or alive) via dreamwork. There are several books/authors that can help you with this spiritual development. The best book I've come across is called "Active Dreaming" by Robert Moss. He also has a website and blog. Best wishes!
