Talking What art have you viewed today? (Let’s go on a field trip together!)

Maybe this thread was started out of my own personal need for art.
I live in an art desert! My mind, eyes, heart and soul thirst for it.
Maybe art and spirituality go hand in hand.
Maybe in creating art we meditate LOA embedding the art with energy, vibration with universal consciousness. In viewing art we connect with the energy, we expand our consciousness. Just an idea!

A few weeks ago we saw the tail end of. KCET.org Art bound- Electric Earth: David Aitken. It is on line if you search a bit.

Also, the Guggenheim has a mobile app with virtual tours. There is an exhibit by Hilman af Klint. She was a spiritualist in the late 1800’s (my jaw hit the floor)

Art is like sunshine. It recharges. It takes me out of myself and I just thought it would be fun to share and maybe we could all go on some field trips together!

OP, I agree about art being spiritual, the artist being the conduit for the Other. I like Eddie Calz's art. I will try and post an image.

That's ok. I have a print of his Into the Unknown framed, I'm still decorating so it's not on the wall yet. And the Ascension one in the link is still rolled up in the tube waiting to be framed. There's just something about his work that captivates me.

I hope you get to visit city soon to get your art fix!

Oh, I forgot

JB, soon enough, we will search out the art at the airport when we pick up our son. Our airport even has some gargoyles hiding about. It will just be a couple more weeks.
