Dream of Shaman and Tiger
I had a dream early this year that was quite vivid, and I struggle to figure out its meaning.
I was in what appeared to be a small village and walking through an open air market place. I came across a man with dark skin and symbols tattooed all over his torso. When he saw me, we made eye contact and he laughed very hardily, as if we were very old friends that hadn't seen each other in a very long time. Lying in front of him was a medium sized tiger, just lounging on her side like it was the most joyous lazy day of the year. When I made eye contact with the tiger, she reached out with her front paws, pulled me toward her (like spooning), and wrapped her paws around me gently.
The dream was very brief, but the imagery was amazing. Any thoughts from anyone on potential meaning would be a great help. Thanks!

I would say your protector energy is based on the tiger. You may lash out at times like any cat would when scared or in danger but this is to keep you safe so this side of you is actually your friend and ally. Tigers are very powerful so that as well helps keep you safe in the world. Essentially our chosen form of defending ourselves in the world isn't to be seen as a negative. it should be embraced for the fact it is there to protect us until we are strong enough to not need it anymore.

Thank you @Michelle11! The feeling I got from the tiger was very strong, protective, and loving, so what you say aligns with that feeling perfectly.
