A few things stuck out to me about this story.
1. No one really seemed to pay him any mind. Even his family and friends.
They all noticed he was terrified and exhausted,but didn't try to help.
They didn't try to go see what he was talking about or offer to let him
stay over at their house.
2. Usually in these stories people will return to the witch that apparently
cursed them and ask if he/she will remove it. Or,they end up at a
Priest/Priestess' business to ask them to remove it. None of that
happened.
3. The cause of death was listed as cardiac arrest and they say he was
scared to death.
If this story is in fact true,the mind is a very powerful thing. I think he made the curse real. He believed it was true and so,it was.

The mind is far more powerful and dangerous than we ever will understand. I believe this is true, maybe he wasn't possessed but in fact made to believe he was possessed, it is also a fact our heart can stop as we forget to breathe (an instinct long time ago when we were hunted by predators to stay as quiet as possible) This is not odd at all, but he should have been aware of what he was doing because THAT IS DANGEROUS!
