Angry Complications in the Friendship Area.

I have this friend I met recently. She has feelings for me and I know that. She's told me already, I don't feel the Same way.
She's been alright, nice to me when we talk sometimes. So I'll say good Night and turn my Phone off to sleep. I wake up and She's sent me messages calling me names and things like that.
But says sorry and things like that when I confront her.
I'm not sure what her deal is, She's a nice friend when she's not acting like that.
So do you think I should just drop the friendship, I've gave her chances and I guess....I don't know.
Maybe the friendship should just be dropped.

Seeing as you don't feel the same way for her, there is no point in maintaining this friendship.

Hello Red_Faye.

I sense you want to avoid being the one breaking off the connection.

If so, try coming from an attitude of 'live, and let live'.
In this way, you do not avoid anybody, but you also do not feed 'the dog that bites you' (so to speak).

When I sense that someone is not true, and is baiting me for a reaction, I do not react to them.
I remain quiet and still.
One of two things come from this, they either run away, or awaken.

I think it is important that my friends respect me personally. If they want to be rude and disrespectful I don't feel obligated to continue giving of myself to maintain that relationship.

She clearly has some issues, which you cannot help her with.

There are only three choices to any problem in life.
1. Change it.
2. Walk away from it.
3. Accept it the way it is.

It all boils down to good self-esteem and self-respect--it is really not about the other person at all (IMHO)--it is more about the way you deserve to be treated and the energy you are willing to welcome into your life.

My friends treat me with love and respect--as I do them.

You have the right and responsibility to decide how you deserve to be treated--then draw the appropriate boundaries.

Linen53 put it very well and (personally) I would choose #2 and just walk away.
