When nightmares come true
What happened to me this morning was absolutely horrifying and don't wish this to happen to anyone else. The day before I had a nightmare about there being a giant spider in my bedroom, and much to my horror when I woke up today there was a giant male house spider on the wall. Just coincidence or....?

coincidence.
i recall a tv show where Cynthia Nixon's character states that there's usually
a spider within 8 feet of a person throughout the day... maybe it was here:

i don't see what's so horrifying about your experience SlayerOfLight.

Well to me it was horrifying as I detest giant house spiders. As weird as it sounds, I'd rather have a tarantula roam around in my bedroom than a giant house spider.

i keep getting new spiders showing up around my house. they'll weave their
webs overnight in the tub, or sink, or wherever. i don't mind them too much,
but i wish they'd pick less active areas to situate in... like the basement.
tarantulas are a favored species (by hollywood) for scaring people, probably
due to their size.

tarantula are dangerous to human"

I already knew they aren't dangerous to us. I don't find them scary looking at all and in fact I've even handled them numerous times. House spiders on the other hand just look gross and monstrous, especially up close... I also have cellar spiders in my bedroom but they don't bother me because at least they remain in the same place.
