Does God really have anyone to blame but Himself?

This is the most sensible statement to me as it is along my thinking on the "God" I'm most familiar with (the God of Abraham one). And how many other "Gods" have been created by humankind even long before Christianity, Judaism? Or in other parts of the world? What kind of loving God would impart knowledge only in one backward part of the world, long after other Gods had been created and "dethroned"?
