A telepathic experience

This is my first post. I came across this site today and wow! What a thrill to read through the discussions.

Quite some years ago, I was at a party with a bunch of friends. There was a guy at this party whom I had met a couple of times before. Without understanding it at the time, I felt a real repellant force from him and he from me. It wasn't that I disliked him or found him repulsive; it was just a repellant force.

Over the next few hours, things got really bizarre. When I would speak, he would hear not what I was saying to the group but what I was thinking. Likewise, when he would speak, I heard completely different words than the rest of the group. It was an extraordinary experience but not one either of us wished to experience again. We have since avoided contact with one another but no one (other than he and I) know the real reason. I don't like the vulnerability of having someone know my thoughts and I'm sure he feels the same way.

I also felt it was very strange that the intense urge to avoid him manifested itself long before the telepathic exchange. The party broke up and everyone left at around the same time. We met up in the doorway as we left. He looked at me and said "what the f**k was that?" I shrugged my shoulders and said "you got me". It was really creepy. We've not been together in the same room since.

I've never had another experience like that since and don't consider myself telepathic. Just wanted to share that, since I've never told anyone about it.

That was a fascinating first post by the way, and sounded like a very powerful experience, especially to be so telepathically connected to someone you barely knew. I've had some brief experiences of telepathy, but they've been with people I am very close to & know intimately.

I honestly believe that this is humanity's natural method of communication, and one that we could be heading back towards. So many misunderstandings & conflict could be avoided if everyone knew exactly what the other was thinking - and it would encourage everyone to pay more attention to the thoughts they were having, and to control negative ones much more. And as thoughts create, that wouldn't be such a bad thing IMO, lol.

You must have had a strong connection to him?? Do you meditate? It may be worth meditating on the situstion and see if you can get any answers!!

There may be avery good rason for it...... Very interesting!!!
