Yes I agree with you in that, but still many believe that the soul is like separate little drops of sprites.

If you've ever experienced your eternal self, your highest consciousness, you will KNOW you have always been and will always be. If you define death as a departure from this life experience, then death exists. But if you define death as the end of you, that will never happen.

I can't say for sure as i can't remember previous lives or passing over....but I have had some communication from passed loved ones and from the Divine,...(.well I hope it was and not my vivid imagination) and my sensory perception was giving me odd sensations and emotions........and I have an odd or maybe not odd....'knowing' that it is real......

I definitely believe in the continuation of life after this body is gone. And it makes me feel good, knowing that I will go on and experience so much more.

With "thought" one comes to realise that one has grammar of our self which doesn't disappear just because we're cremated or whatever, all the abstract visual and audio comes into play with the energy which is US just like in Avatar I guess, and when we pass on there is a sublime crossover into a separate relevance
(I didn't mean to suggest you have no thought but there are discussions online here about TELEPATHY and everything, really even pixies can suggest life after death)
