What is this feeling of insignificance/worthlessless?

My heart chakra is opening and it's brilliant but yesterday I was faced with this feeling for a few hours. I know it's not shame, guilt or sadness. I need to put a label to it so if it comes again I know what it is :

This feeling I have, my heart is gone, I look into my eyes and I see nothing. I feel like an insignificant piece of dust.

I've been experiencing something like this as well. I've been assuming I'm going through a dark night of the soul. How long have you been dealing with it?
