You are not a god

Hey everyone! A while back, a healer said to an audience where I was present, "You are not a god." (in a discussion on being grounded).

This got me to thinking: Then what about those humans who were said to be a god/goddess in their past lives (e.g. mythology, akashic records, etc.)?? How would they be described?

The gods and goddesses of the past are the angels of today, even in the old mythologies, there was always one first prime god, sometimes called chaos other times something else. Anyway, the terminology that you are looking for is avatar.

Because God is everything and One.

I think it all depends on what someone means by "god"-everyone may see something different in this term.

I remember Wayne Dyer saying you are God. The idea is we are part of the energy /consusness of God . Who we were in a past ;life is something diferent .

The gods and goddesses of our old pantheons were not gods in the sense of spiritual masters or divine light beings, they were genetically and technologically advanced beings with long lives who sought to influence humanity and some were even no more diffferent than us in manner, so are not really superior. It is very possible an individual can be a reincarnation of one of these beings or of one of their soul branch/family. A speaker cannot say you are not, only you would know this via your accumulated reincarnations memories. As for God in the 'one' sense, for someone to say we are not is not good because our very souls make us of God and so one part of a universal whole.

Well obviously, just because someone says something, it doesn't necessarily mean they are right.

Go with your own heart knowing, don't follow the shepherds blindly.

A lot of those Akashic things are from Edgar Cayce Readings who bounced off a lot of Theophosy.

Very few people can accurate read from the Records because you are asking for the knowledge from God's big subconscious memory bank. Do you really think you are going to 100 percent accurately read from the Infinite when you yourself are nowhere near as evolved as the Source of existence?

Those souls who have those things spoken about being "gods" may have to do with the energy they are connected to.

Angels and deities are two different things. Angels are highly evolved spirits who are far older than us, and they evolved from an older world and universe. It's like angels are our older siblings who've been through it all long before our race even existed. They are emissaries and extensions of God.

Deities are in my opinion Beings part of the Divine Council, the divine Congregation within the Divine. They are the many of the One. They are archetypes of our highest selves. They are a part of us but they are also aspects of God. They are beings who possess the higher consciousness.

The only person who walked on Earth who was "a god" was Jesus Christ. Both Christ and Buddha were fully enlightened souls but different. Buddha evolved from this world through many lifetimes. Jesus was a higher and ancient soul who evolved from an older universe/world than our own. That is why when he became "a Man" he was born pure and perfect and technically the anointed and appointed "God-Man" for this world.
