Confronting dreams about friend who died recently?

A friend of mine died suddenly at the start of December.

The last couple of weeks I have dreamt about her 4 or 5 times. Each time she is standing on her own, really frightened and kind of in shock. In the dream she doesn't understand why noone is with her.

I am always a little frightened in the dream but feel like I need to support her, so I try to find my calm spot and I tell her she has passed away and its time to cross over. But she just stares at me blankly.

Last night I realised what was going on early on and kinda made my sister be part of the dream (we were both friends with this girl) and my sister and I hold hands and we both tell my friend she has passed away and she needs to cross over.

I don't know if its just my imagination or if its something more. I am afraid to touch her in the dream for some reason. I am a bit scared of the 'ghost' thing?

Any ideas?
