Jack Frost
Hi everyone! Just wondering what your thoughts are on the Jack Frost myth. If he does exist and really is the personification of winter, could you see him on the physical plane? Is he a spiritual guide for some? What would he be like? Is there a movie that portrays him better than others - i.e. Rise of the Guardians vs. Santa Clause 3?
Beyond interested in this guy. Lol.

I have an obsession with this guy too. It start when watching the old childrens Christmas shows when I was little. There was one of Jack Frost and I just fell in love with the concept. I heard in a book that he was a fairy or something but interested to know what he actually is.

Weeeell, glad to know I'm not alone! Have you seen that movie, Rise of the Guardians? If not, I genuinely think you would fall in love with it. It presents Jack in an amazing way that, should he exist, feels completely legitimate. (At least... that's the Jack I'd like to believe exists. ha.)

Oh, i've seen it and fell in LOVE with it. Honestly, I have never seen a movie portray Jack Frost in an almost perfect way! I'm very artistic and i'm always analyzing movies (some say i'm like a critic) and Rise of the Guardians HAS do be my favorite movie of all time! And no, you are not alone! ;D

Agree totally about Jack Frost in the Rise of the Guardians. Extraordinary little film.
As a child I recall my father telling me stories of Jack Frost. He would say when we heard the wind outside howling that it was Jack Frost, and he was saying "let me in, let me in". Just a simple little story but I loved it so. I continued that story with my own children when they were little. Funny, to this day if they happen to be visiting me, and the wind is blowing hard a smile will come on their faces (and their grown now) and they know who is out there wanting to be invited in.
