A positive life changing experience.

A few days ago I had a very uplifting experience. You could almost call it an awaking. To be honest I don't think I ever had an "awaking". I matured a little at a time but nothing like this where EVERYTHING changes in matter of hrs. It wasn't planned or did I practice anything to make it happen. It was like all the right things came together at the perfect time completely out of my control. Has anyone had the same type of experience?

I can divide my life into three awakening experiences that transformed my reality and took my life in a whole new direction. You said "Everything changed in a matter of hours." Google Goethe Until One Is Committed. That's part of what's going on in those instances. Awakening experiences give a new level of clarity and purpose to one's life direction and intent.

It's funny you mentioned me googling that. It plays into what I been thinking. You spend 40+ years seeing things one way then things just simply change. Over the last few years I've grown an matured more than I have in my first 35. But it's been slow and steady. This was a great surge into growth, so I am sitting here thinking...ok here I am, now what? What just happened ect ect.

Spiritual Science identifies such changes as soul-initiation stages, and states there are several such stages on the enlightenment path, or the ascension journey as some call it. I'm not saying all major changes in one's life fall under that catagory, but I would say at least one did in my own life.

There's a lot of people who strive to be completely "enlightened". But if that actually could happen what would we have to strive and grow for. A drive for me to keep growing is I always have this in mind. Either you grow or die. Might be a morbid way of looking at it but it keeps me going. I see trees all the time beat and broken by nature itself but they still keep growing even if it's only a little.

We live (incarnate) many lifetimes. All human beings will eventually attain a level of enlightenment that will put an end to the incarnation process -- an end to the need to incarnate as a human being in this physical plane. The enlightened soul will then move on to its next plane of reality and existence, and continue its evolution and learning. Enlightenment is most definitely not the end of striving and growing.

My life is like this all the time... I think you learn to live awakened and so it might always feel like you're having these jolting experiences until you fit it into your life somehow and get used to it.

Ah, 'Awakenings'.

Those precious moments when Grace simply opens the Doors of Perception for us...
for apparently no reason, seemingly, out of the blue.
Yet, part of our predestined blueprint we made before coming here....
moments set to be triggered in our very DNA.
All seemingly undeserved, yet ... very much a part of our Path from times spent in Past Lives...
maybe at the feet of Masters...maybe spending years meditating in monastaries or a cave.

My take.

On the other hand maybe they happen because God just simply can't stand what dopes we are and
throws us a bone, the proverbial sacred breadcrumb. There's always that.

Or is it a possible mistake that some enzyme similar to DMT squirted out in
our brains waking up previously folded, dormant brain tissue?
Oh, I find God's sense of humor quite fun!!

(It's when He does this when you're in a group...that's when you
must excuse yourself...ya have to talk to Him...and set some boundaries, I found.)

This has happened to me so many times, and it is definitely amazing. I would venture to say you probably opened yourself up to the positive energy in some way. For me, it often happens after I read something inspirational or when I change something about my routine. I can be something small that you didn't even realize.

I was on a 3 day camping trip on a island on lake Michigan. You need to take 2 different ferry's to get to the island. This was the second time I have been there. The last night I was there we experienced rain and extremely strong winds,it hit at 1:45am. Normally I get real nervous during storm's when I am camping because there's no safe place to go during bad storm's. A tent doesn't protect well from the elements. But anyway during this storm I felt strangely safe. In the morning we found our camp supplies blown all over the place. When we packed up and got on one of ferries to go home, the winds were still strong. The winds created 7to10 foot Waves on lake Michigan. That made for a bumpy and wet ferry ride. I had the time of my life!! The combination of them 2 events made an intense impression on me spiritually and it was so uplifting to really have experienced that. Here's a picture of "rock island" off of door county. To get to island you have to take a ferry ride through a water passage called deaths door.
