I have a childish pendulum!

Seriously, what is going on with my pendulum? Is it going through a rebellious phase or what?

I will ask it a question and it will give me its answer but then when I ask it to come to a stop it starts swinging no. I'll ask it again to come to a stop and it starts swinging no harder. Why is it being so difficult? It's like fighting with a child! lol

Actually, I have no idea how people avoid this problem. You have a stray spirit hanging out with you who loves messing around with pendulums. I get the regularly, and yes they are purely childish. Nothing anyone has suggested to me has ever stopped the problem. They just come and go as they please. Sometimes I get my guides, when I'm lucky. But I get all kinds of spirits who love to mess around. It's irritating. And I generally feel them leeching energy too. When I find a solution, I will let you know!

Ive never been at all good with pendulums (only a few times) but a month ago I decided I'd once again try to do some pendulum dowsing, to my surprise, wow the pendulum was really going and very very strong.

The next day I go to do some more but the pendulum wouldnt even move for me!! Sorry I cant comment on pendulums.

Emerald, ours are just giving lies. Mine did what yours did with such force, it nearly was horizontal in the air and it felt like it would fly out of my hand. It has been the drawer ever since. lol

I wonder if one should ' cleanse ' a pendulum perhaps from previous users energy or from others handling the pendulum in a store ?

Curious.... do any of you who have such a strange acting pendulum, have any other pendulums in your care ? and if so.... do the other pendulums behave in the same way ?

Yes, it would be a good idea to cleanse your pendulum.

Emerald, your pendulum does not have a life of it's own. The actions are coming from you, same is true of most divination methods. It's your own subconscious mind, intuition, etc - all the "soft" psychologies.

My best pendulums have been either an acorn or a pine cone on a thread and I would replace them often. The pendulum itself is not that important, it's only a small weight on a thread and the weight could be anything. However, it is important to have a clear mind !
