a different view of enlightenment

One way to think of enlightenment is fully knowing your worth, worthiness, and innocence.

To do this the following affirmations can help:

- I am guilty of nothing.

- I am entirely worthy.

- I am priceless. I am a being of infinite worth and value.

Isn't buddhism teaching that there's no "I"?

I'm glad what I said struck a chord with you, Lucky.

Not sure Luke. I think opinions vary on that point.

Why do you feel you need to give a personal interpretation to a notion already well defined? Obviously that isn't enlightenment, and generates confusion.

Yes!
I as an entity, not with my human ego, yes, these are all true.
These apply to all of us.
Believing these ... free us from our limited perception of us.

I think we never stop evolving. There is no end called enlightenment. There is always more to learn. More levels of awareness. We go in the order of our chakras when we evolve

I might further define: I love myself with all the imperfections I have. I love me just the way I am!
