Isn't it ever SW .... this one is taken a little further back and you can just see a mauve petal of a second flower poking out (on the right) ... all the slipper orchids are about to bloom too ...

Dandelions are just dandy too I reckon ... I nearly pulled them out but they are such a wonderful reminder that nature doesn't need to be fancy to speak to us :) ...

The Mines Rescue Department just down the road havent been very active lately which is a blessing ... and it gives them more time to tend to their beautiful garden :) ...

Yay and springs just around the corner. I'm getting ready to order some trees and shrubs from the conservation department. They don't sell flowers though...seed packets I think only. I prefer to plant the perenials.
I've taken to on the warm days (40s lol) and we've even had some days in the 50s...to getting out there and cleaning up parts of the yard. One day I even made a campfire and sat and warmed myself by it. Very nice. Love cleaning the yard up and making a nice fire with the debris.
The spring birds singing has my heart bursting with joy when I step foot outside in the morning. No better sound than that to me...
Need to get my camera out myself, but I've been so busy with other things... been some glorious sunrises lately. they are all beautiful, but I miss capturing them through my lens.
