Meeting spirit guide, need help

I had a dream that I was looking out the window and suddenly a large group of white pigeons began circling all around my balconies window. Then I saw light all around and through that light I saw a person flying in the air. He was carried by a large white pigeon and had no arms or legs, his hair and facial hair were all white, as bright as that light. He was old, ethnicity - white. Pigeon carried him inside my house through that same window and I began feeling love all around me, I've never experienced such strong feeling of excitment and love before in my dream. It felt really real. He looked at me, smiled and said: hello, I greeted him back.
After that I awoke from my dream, because my girlfriend told me that I was jumping, shaking and talking something loudly while I was asleep.
I did meditate and asked my spirit guide to show me a sign, or appear. Can anyone help me understand what happened better, what this sign could mean? Is there anything more to this?

I go through same times. My spiritual guide wants to meet me until 16'th 17'th of September.

Wow, what a dream~! Did you ask for a sign in your head, or did you ask him/her out loud? I have been wanting to contact my guide(s) but wasn't sure how to go about it. Thanks.

Hehe, it was quite intense. Well, there were many times when I tried to imagine that I'm talking to my spirit guide in my head and time from time I kept asking for signs, guidance. I also listened to guided meditation on Youtube that should help to meet your spirit guide and I did that a couple of times. I think that meditating and trying to think positively helped the most, I am meditating almost everyday after all.

They talk to you all the time. It's often very suddle. Like a thought that just comes to you. That's your guide.

One of my guides comes to me in my dreams when he is trying to guide my path. Usually it is just his hand giving me or showing me something. Sometimes he speaks and gives me a clue. I have more than one main guide and I know they work together, but he communicates to me the most. I constantly talk to them though let them know what I am working on and ask them for guidance to make sure I am staying on track.
