Well, I don't like to give too much 'imagination' to my dislikes list ....lol. I think that would be entirely too upsetting and who needs that! *giggles*

Ok off top of my head..

I prefer winter.. cold and fresh
I love walking in the woods

I love walking barefoot
I love the rain
I hate storms
I used to hate wolves now I love them
I love silence
I love hill tops
I love sunlight
I love all animals
I love big hugs and powerful emotion in all people
I love herbs
I love drinking a hot drink last thing at night even in summer

I hate violence hate it hate it hate it
I hate nasty teenagers and gangs they scare me silly
I hate arguments
I don't like hot hot sun. has to be a breeze
I hate women who steal other peoples men
I hate men who do same
I hate infidelity of any sort
I hate walking by a river
I hate the dark
I don't like talking to people who I can feel don't want to talk to me
I hate boredom
I hate judgement
I hate planned vindictiveness
I hate all abuse
I hate the ugly angry face I pull when I shout and catch a glimpse of myself

ooooh that's telling.

Not sure if some of yours triggered some of mine.... but I identified with them. Since doing that list a weird thing happened. The things I don't like I have not seen much of and have been enjoying the nice things.. I think I just remembered how much I liked them and it was good to tune into myself again.

ah, yes...seeing what others list can help you remember things you used to really enjoy. And I do find that listing the things I enjoy the most can help me focus on them rather than on my dislikes. I'm glad it affected you like that!

I love the idea of these likes and dislike lists, I have never considered them before, lets get it in the open, sorry if some offend, it is unintentional just my perspective.

I love:
Animlas,
debs (my wife)
ben (my son)
the beach
the sea (odd when I live in the midlands )
nature in all its glory
teaching
my training
writing a story and knowing it is okay /good
finding a new favourite song
those deep, easy , glorious meditations, that let you know there is something more
helping, especially if its not noticed, there is great beauty in that..

Things I hate
Confrontation
when I shout
that adrenalin dump before conflict
the numb feeling after an argument
being lied to
arrogance in others
missing my own and then realising its was there
gipsys
inaction in the face of injustice
peoples lack of curtesy
Sometimes, simply, people
my ego

I think that most people would agree with your 'dislikes'...

My good lady had a spiritual reading yesterday, and she discovered we had been together in a past life - I apparently had to leave her for a while to go off to fight in some kind of war, but I didn't return, and she waited and waited for me, she put a flower in her hair each day, and yearned for me, but I believe I was killed.
She has always had a huge theme of abandonment running through this lifetime - her father left when she was very young, and never wanted to have anything to do with her again. And some of the men in her life have abandoned her.
Perhaps some of the themes of a past life come back to 'haunt' us in our present lifetime... So that we can overcome them... Our connection was unresolved, and we are destined to reunite in this lifetime after much heartache and loneliness in both of our lives...

But on a more positive note, our likes are so uncanny, it's unbelievable... I knew for sure the first time I connected with her, which was through her writing, that she was my soulmate... Her words are like reading my own... Sometimes I don't even realise it was something she had written!
When I first visited her, I saw her collection of films, and it was so spooky, as it was almost identical to my collection! Even some of the really obscure films I had where there also!
We love the same music, are affected by the same things, and we have the same thoughts on virtually everything, and we even look similar - a friend of mine commented we could be mistaken for brother and sister!

She has helped me to find that within me which needed a good look at, and whenever I need guidance, she has the knack of saying the right things at the right time...
And she has inspired the most prolific writing within my soul...

I am so lucky to have found this beautiful and deeply talented and spiritual woman in my life... I won't ever let go...
