I was followed home

Hi all,

Just recently I went shopping and took my spirit entourage with me. I stopped at a thrift store looking for a scarf to use for my altar. Whenever I'm there, I also look at the knick knacks to see if anything attracts my attention. My gaze was drawn to the ugliest ceramic angel figurine I ever did see so I wondered why that happened out of all the other items on the shelf. I felt a little creeped out just by looking at it. I walked away from that row of shelves to distance myself from it so I could think a bit. Between dowsing and confirmation from my Primary Spirit Guide, I concluded that the angel was haunted by a toddler. At the time, I was tired and hungry, and wanted to go home so I left with no further thought.

At home, after I sorted myself out, I was prepping dill for the freezer. As I was doing that, I heard in my mind "gramma" which came from nowhere. Whenever I hear a word or two pop into my mind like that, it always means a spirit of some sort is reaching out to me. I didn't sense any ill intent to me. I thought back on the angel figurine and wondered if I was followed and after a quick dowse, that got confirmed. I was indeed followed home by a toddler spirit who joined my spirit entourage. Not quite knowing what to do at this point, I chatted with a psychic friend online to see if my suspicion could be confirmed and it was.

During the course of our chat to figure what to do, and me using telepathy to communicate with the girl, we managed to calm her down. She was three years old who believed she was an angel. She also didn't know she was dead but one of my jinn told her flat out that she was dead before I had the chance to do so which is why the little girl was scared. I told her that she could do, see and go places that I can't, making it sound like an adventure for her and offered her a cookie. That calmed her and my friend saw that she was eating some other treat which the jinn gave her.

I told her that she'll have an escort, a spirit recommended by my friend, who'll take her to where she's supposed to be. The escort came and took her to the Light.

Later that evening getting ready for bed, when I was in the bathroom, I heard the name 'Jim' pop into my mind again from nowhere. I really don't like holding conversations when I'm in the bathroom. When I got to the bedroom, I called 'Jim' then I had a brief conversation with him. He claimed to be her father and said that they were separated for years (he didn't say for how long). He also thanked me for what I did and sent some love to me.

I don't consider myself to be a medium but with this experience, I suspect I have the ability. Is it these kinds of experiences that lead to furthering developing mediumship? Another thought, is it best to let it develop on its own or speed it up a bit by taking a more active approach?

There is another thread on here asking if it is possible to become a medium. It has great advice about what it is to be a medium and the pitfalls of it. I had a child follow me once from a toys r us at Christmas Time. I had no idea what to do about it at the time so I let her hang around with the family until I could figure it out. She was very polite and sweet.
