I think I just connected with spirit!! advice please xx

Hi everyone,
I sat and did some meditation this afternoon and I'm pretty sure I connected with spirit. At first random names were coming to me. I found that sitting silently with my eyes closed just wasn't working for me. So I opened my eyes and spoke out loud and I started receiving what I believe were snippets of information.. none of it has made sense as such..

The information came as words, I 'heard' a name, I was shown a carrot and then it was a though I knew that this was to show someone who grew their own veg. I saw the number 23 that suddenly became numbers on a door..
There was so much more too...
I was writing notes as the info came through..

I guess what I'm asking is that this isn't just my imagination? is this how spirit communicates? years ago I would sense spirits presence as someone stood behind my left shoulder before I would receive any information. Today I could sense a presence to my right but it wasn't as strong as it used to be..

I'm feeling as though to progress I need to sit with someone and try to connect to spirit that way.. sitting alone in a quiet room just feels odd to me. Is this spirit pushing me in this direction..

Any advice or information is welcomed!! Thank you!!

Congrats!! This is how mediumship begins -- at least it is how mine did. Keep exploring and walking in the truth.

Sitting with someone can be a huge help Kezzar, especially, of course, if it's someone you feel comfortable with, sitting with a Medium would be your best bet, or even sitting in a closed circle ran by a Medium. Sometimes we just need that little bit of extra help :)
Just to add, the other thing about sitting with someone is, they will be able to answer any of your questions during your development.

Thank you Tricia, I think that will be my way forward, the thought keeps being pushed to the front of my mind so I know I'm being given a gentle nudge lol xx
