Individuality in oneness.

If all is one then all is the Creator/Source and we are all an individual part of the Creator/Source.(Sparks from the same fire).
Jesus realised this in His statement, "My Father and I are one"....
Just my own personal opinion and thoughts.

All is one.

God created man in his own image according to the Bible.

This doesn't mean physical image it mean soul image. We are all a piece of God. Jesus realized this, and went to seek God within himself. Once he found (became aware of the truth) the God within he started teaching others how to find the God within. This allowed the lepers to heal themselves etc.

Most of the Bible is allegory describing "metaphysical" things. Then explaining the outcomes of those things in more allegory.

The truth is the Bible is a story about several men's actual experiences with the divine.

It came from Moses going into the desert seeking God. This would be called a vision quest today. Moses found God and was told to liberate the Israelites.

Moses said "who do I say sent me?"
God said tell them "I am" sent you?

I am refers to the self it always has God is "I" meaning within us.

Decoding the Bible fom the perspective of this is man's experience and instead of worshipping God based on others experiences I can find God myself and worship him Directly. So that's what I did. You yourself can have this experience if you do the work. It opens you up and allows God to work through you. Which answers the non believers question of "If there is a God why doesn't he come down here and fix this mess." If you do the work to cleanse the temple, and ask God to work through you, then God will come down to earth and fix this mess. The more people who do this the bigger of a mess he can fix which would lead to the 1000 year reign of the lord spoken of in revelations because God would be working through all the people which would lead to perfect harmony.

yeah my own reading of the bible backs up such a statement that we would all be sparks from the same fire... right now we are allowed to go every which way without much restraint but later it might be a little less chaotic... at least accordiing to the bible lol...

but i still think, individual sparks are still individual sparks even tho part of a greagter whole

I agree that this is where free will comes in, but if we choose to be the door for God then we can be the door. However, if we do,become the door we don't lose our free will because we can choose to listen and follow or ignore and do our own thing.

The universe is a single being and that being is the God that we are all aspects of. This being is eternal and uncreated. It is a network of individual monads. We are individuals and we are the One. It is a domain of mathematical frequencies. It is both personal and impersonal. It is my friend. It is pure light.

I'm inclined to agree with you, at least in part. I do not believe ''God'' cares about nation building and group favouritism, and all sorts of other illusions. People get an 'experience' then may use it in the worldly context, where I do not believe it is (always) applicable.

Maybe it was what Moses wanted And so he said it was God who wanted it.

Who knows.
