Feathers

I am under the impression that there is some spiritual significance to feathers. Symbolic sure, but more than that. Does anyone have any knowledge about this?

Feathers are messages from the Angels and those on the Other side, I do believe.

The messages can vary ~ to me, they usually mean that either my Angels or my friend on the Other Side is with me, they are thinking of me

Other people ask for confirmation, that they are making the right decision about something - and the feather is the confirmation

I have had feathers float down from the sky ~ out of nowhere so to speak ( no bird in sight )

I have found feathers inside, where there is no chance a bird has been in the vicinity
for example, just a day or so ago ~ I found a feather sitting on top of my computer ( and I don't have a bird as a pet ) and one didn't just fly in the door or window to say hello

Finding feathers to me is a comforting sign

Have you been finding feathers ? or is this just a general wondering kind of question ?

I find feathers now and then, but outside in nature. I like them and have a couple right beside the computer. My dreamcatcher has feathers, too. But I have never found one in a puzzling manner, so the question is in general.

I like the dreamcatcher idea. I save all the feathers I find, I have quite a few, or more than quite a few .... maybe I should make a dream pillow with them ? the thought has crossed my mind.

Feathers can hold different meanings for different people. In shamanistic practices they are often used in rituals. For those who move in bird medicine feathers hold importance in that they are tools to represent their power animals. They are significant of flight and carry intentions. As birds are considered messengers of God their feathers are considered sacred by some. They are used to honor bird animal guide and are often worn for protection.
