Let's be accurate with our language, "your true identity" has never really existed. "You" were never born at the ultimate level of existence, only at the level which many call illusion. It is tied to body and mind and both will cease to exist one day.

This is why Jesus stressed the "Son of God" and "Son of Man". Did he ever say he was going to destroy the Son of Man? Did he ever say the Son of Man will cease to exist? What did he say?

He said you will see the Son of Man seated at the right hand of power.

Jesus (even though he is fulled immersed in the Source) will never lose his identity as a soul. The soul receives its eternal essence from the Spirit but accumulates its own unique individuality after fastening and shaping Itself through evolution and experience.

The Source/God/Spirit created every soul unique and distinct. The soul is actually not even created. The soul is actually begotten, a part of the Spirit/Source. The part that is created is the human incarnation/person you became. You, the underlining essence of your Id is the SPIRIT. Thus deep within you is the I AM that sustains and creates the Universe.

Jesus did not say he was God. We can NOT claim to be the Source. The Source is of His/Her Own. But we can claim identity with the Source because the Source begot us from It's very essence. We are parts and parcels of the Universal Body. The One did not become absolutely Many. And the One did not stay absolutely One. The One remained absolutely while becoming the Many. Our minds can not understand it. It is impossible how God is both of Himself and You and I .

Your true Identity is everyone's Identity, there is only ONE Identity, you just don't understand the language of non-dualism, and that's Ok also.

I think it is you who does not understand non-dualism by saying that there is a language for it. Language is inherently dualistic. A language of non-dualism is an oxymoron. It doesn't exist.
And it is not ok to disseminate drivel and untruths which only serve to confuse the people.

Assuming one leaves It - Awareness is distracted from It.

Source could be described in many ways - the proverbial Diamond in the Sky, it's facets veiwed from
many different angles (better than the elephant analogy, imo).
An easy way to at least contact Source is to feel Love.
(Sorry, did I say the easy way, Ha!)

Never heard that before.

Going back to the bubbles is one way to go back. (And finding out techniques for just that.)
Going to the Light is another. (Gotta find It first, though...another technique? Yes.)
Merging all your concentration on the (unspeakable) Name of God (Word)
or Source...
Concentrationg on the Divine Sound Current or Inner Sound - different than Holy Name or Sat Nam.
