I almost believe?

You know, the concept of God or of a greater being is a very challenging thing for me to accept. Believing, especially having been to the proverbial underworld is something very hard to do. But today, I question whether or not there is something more to life. Is there another actual level of existence that is beyond or parallel to our own?

I had a handful of dreams that illustrated some kind of celebration towards the end of the year. I figured this cause for celebration would be earlier than December. Because of that, I casted those dreams as nothing more than a recesses of the consciousness. Bow now, almost in an instant, I feel these dreams were something more. In combination with recent dreams that depict sudden change and even a relationship (which was my guess).

It is hard to believe – that I could make a prediction nearly four months in advance. You are probably saying – dreams are a reflection of ourselves, our environment, and the events that happen to us. And they are, but over the years of dreaming I have come to believe that my dreams are more. My dreams have revealed things that just cannot be explained rationally. In situations that could not be derived from previous feelings or knowledge. In fact, when I dream I often wonder if there will be some literal meaning behind it.

I cannot simply ask myself – and hope to make a prediction. The dreams just happen. Somehow, I cannot see my dreams as being simply “dreams.” I would easily lend myself to ridicule were I to share my thoughts about dreams with the average person. Even more so, these dreams are what keep me from completely dismissing anything relating to spirituality and more.

Yesterday I made a prayer, which I have not done in a long time. Because I have just started talking to this girl I met. I was unsure what to ask, or if to say anything at all. But interestingly, I asked for creativity so I may approach this situation better. Today, after being unable to sleep, I decided to skip school. When I woke towards noon – there were words there – and I knew I should write something down. I went to work in creating a creative piece of work for this girl.

Funny thing is – there was another girl just last week. It did not work out as hoped. But something encouraged me to go online and look. Which I did, and the first person I messaged responded. And what is more, it would seem that this person and I have a great deal in common. In conclusion, I really do not know if this will work out. But I feel confident that it will – and I never feel confident in anything. I have managed to get a date with this girl. After having amazed her with my piece – who would have thought? A coincidence…?

Guess time will tell.

Great Post and truly inspirational. Well I dont much believe in God, but actually believe in humanity. We need to be kind, good and helpful to make our internal spirit happy.

I could not possible male the conclusion with any reasonable amount of evidence.
I remember an object fell from the sky, from a plane high up. This small piece of debris fell through a windshield and killed a man instantly while on the highway. The car somehow managed to follow through an exist and safely came to a stop.
I also remember, near my place, a car went out of control and toppled over a bridge. Beneath was a bus pathway, and there happened to be a couple with their child. The parents died, but somehow this infant survived.
My own mother has almost died, when she was six years old. Her mother attempted to take her life one day, and the lives of her three children. She decided to drive around like a maniac, and she arguably was, and eventually crashed into a tree. The impact caused the car to compress and therefore there was no escaping the vehicle.
The engine was up in flames, and death seemed imminent. But on this seemingly peaceful day, a sunny day, it started to downpour. The flames were extinguished, and of course lives were saved but not without injury.
Truly, my own mother believes that God saved her on that day. I was not there to see it myself, but I am sure something miraculous happened on that day.
I have dreamed many dreams in life. Before I was eighteen, I never dreamed at all (I never remembered my dreams). I took a chance one night to ask my “spirit guide” to help me remember my dreams. I wanted him to answer a burning question I had bottled up that senior year of school. And I could hardly believe it; I woke up the next day with full consciousness of a dream. And a man appeared my dream to answer my question. Was it a valid answer, it absolutely was.
My dreams have also made a number of predictions. I am no fortune teller, and I could not possible ask and have answered my own questions. But I have had dreams that were very revealing – in that the message of the dream was realized. This happens not too often, but enough for me to realize that this is not simply a “coincidence.”
Anyway, it would seem, things are going quite well. We have exchanged many messages now, and she gave me her number to text her last night.

I enjoyed reading your stories jonspen. Spiritual intervention is something I have experienced and in that space of my own experience I feel its opened me to a greater space of embracing this life fully knowing that I am very protected and guided towards creating the path I am here to complete. Your dreamer is where you can connect strongly as do I, so trust in that space. Sometimes things come to us that we do not fully understand and sometimes its simply pieces of a puzzle forming for something bigger...to emerge.
