First Experience

About a year ago I tried to have an OBE. I think it worked but I'm not really sure. I had never tried before. All I wanted to do was leave my body and go into the living room from my bedroom. I made sure everything was quiet and I rested in bed. I shut my eyes and set my intention. Then I relaxed and went into a meditative state. I don't remember much. I do remember seeing my bedroom door and then eventually feeling like I'm in my living room. I saw images of my living room. It was orderly though, not disorganized like mine is. Soon I was back in my bedroom and awake in my bed. Not sure if I dreamed it all or if it was an OBE. Any input would be appreciated. I wonder if I should try again.

Sounds like remote viewing I think? If you have a true OBE/AP experience or even just an OBE/AP dream you'll know it.

I was watching a program once about OBE's, people that had experienced them in a hospital operating theatre. While under general anaesthetic they felt they were floating above looking at their body on the operating table. The surgeon commented on trying out an experiment where they would put an item up high in the room, but out of view from below to see if anyone commented on it. Would be interesting to find out the results, and maybe something you could try out yourself OP. Of course you'd have to get someone else involved to place said item and to make sure there was no cheating
