How can one raise conciousness in a universe of duality?

Hello, for all love there must be hate right? Is the essence of our universe really love or is it as much hate as love in the world no matter what happens? The freemasons believe it is duality, I have reason to believe they create chaos and massmurdering, is it to soread shadow and keep the light for themselves because light is only 50 percent and in an intensity pyramid? Or can everyone be enlightened at the same time, then it would mot be enlightenment would it?

Not sure if those questions can be resolved for you by nonduality, but from a nondual perspective "All is One" is the only reality. So all that you consider difficult to accept must already be Oneness manifest. So enlightenment cannot increase connection to Oneness for it must already be Oneness manifesting as unenlightened and feeling disconnected! Good luck.

So in a sense if you see it as it is it is enlightenment? The job is just do see it as one? What do you think about becoming a mason? Kind of weird q right here, but I am thinking about it!

I suspect that most seekers after enlightenment would not regard the end of feeling disconnected as enlightenment. I doubt if that would be enough for them.

Even if there has been a strong resonance with the concept All is One, it may be difficult ti include all as Oneness manifest so that the process can be completed. For example it may be difficult for some to regard the Masons as Oneness manifest:) but until they were included the end of feeling disconnected would not be consolidated.

It was Nisargadatta who said "Knowing you are nothing is wisdom, knowing you are everything is Love" According to that you are the Masons and the Masons are you:)

There is a harmony between light and dark but it does not depend on people or what we do. As for enlightenment imagine that all the unenlightened people are wearing blindfolds. (The veil of forgetting for physical incarnation). There is no limit to how many people can take their blindfolds off. Its just that not many people do. And perception of oneness is only the first step towards enlightenment. Even enlightenment is only part of the process needed to ascend.

To asend would not increase connection to Oneness for it must aleady be Oneness unascended:)

nature, but they are deeply rooted & influenced
by many other mechanisms. Not only this,
but they are usually birthed / have the potential
to manifest into their opposing force. This is
where enlightment is gained- through the
transmutation & transcendence of these forces.

For example, the entirety of the Universe
resides within you. Everything in existence,
is a mere extension & reflection of you. All
are expressions of the divine. Now, when you
have a being that may be in contrast to your own-
when you deconstruct it you will understand that
it is a simple reflection that manifested differently.
But is ultimately the same. This is why to master
yourself is to master another & ultimately
the Universe.

Hi August2803,

According to VirtueScience the opposite of one imbalance is another imbalance.
For example a bath too hot has the opposite of a bath to cold.

The opposite of one extreme is another extreme.

The Middle Way has both qualities in balance and harmony.

For example: the opposite of cowardice is recklessness. The middle way regarding these extremes is bravery and caution as a simultaneous unity.

The opposite of hatred which is a kind of extreme repulsion is greed which is a kind of extreme attraction.

So real universal Love does not have an opposite. Only when aspects of it are temporarily repressed there seems to be a lack of various qualities.

In the example of bravery/caution: we all have these qualities within. However if the bravery becomes repressed then we fall into cowardice. If the caution becomes repressed we become reckless.

By loving and accepting both qualities we do not lack them and are thus free from the extremes.

In dualistic thinking yes, but really NO. The first thing to do is stop forcing duality on things. For instance, Love can be expressed without any balancing hate being expressed. The second thing to do is Love those that are still locked into Duality (a prison of the mind).
