War
I wrote this poem called War. Please tell me what you think!! :)
Born a child
Of the war
Rampant in my homeland
With my last breath
My vision is overtook
By the endless sea
Of the blue sky
In front of me
Where I can only see
All the people who mattered
So much to me
With my last breath
The hate against my enemy
Is gone in the
Magnificence of the blue sky
I know
That the God inside
Is too grand
To be separated
By turmoils
Conflict and rancor
Against my brotherhood
Called mankind
Forgive me
My God, and my enemies
For the wounds I have
Inflicted upon you
On the battlefield
Be still
And know that the promise
Of eternal peace
Is a long one
But forever guaranteed

I liked it very much.
War as a theme?
You might like the movie 'Testament of Youth'...very moving.
Alicia Vikander...and oh, the music.

Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.
Meditate unceasingly, that you may quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery. ~Paramahansa's Guru's Guru.

Heartbreaking, sad and true.
Lovely, as always.
Thank you Bubbles.
