His only asset left, his daughter behind him. He is not quite yet aware, that in reality, he is the one who won.

She met her friends and find comfort in telling them she wanted to keep the child. Her pregnancy had opened her eyes to where she was in her life and her preparedness to live it. Her uncertain and ongoing relationship with her boyfriend, wasn't going to stop her from deciding to have a family of her own. She felt ready and decided to separate motherhood from her readiness to find commitment with her partner.

A twenty-something, on the cusp of middle age comes in, looking exhausted. Somehow, he has already supped, and drunk with almost all the best and the worst of what life has to offer. He comes in for a simple black coffee, and to examine all that he can learn from these experiences before moving forward towards his next chapter in life.

The Hierophant

The headmaster of the local private school pops his head in for a coffee, but in reality, he's checking up on a couple of students who have been seen skipping school. Sure enough, they are seated in the corner, hunched over their phones, too busy to even notice him standing over them.

"He walked in to the cafe,
Like he was walking on to a yacht."

All eyes turned towards the impossibly handsome young man dressing in motorbike leathers. As he swaggers to the counter and flashes a smile, showing perfect snow white teeth.
"Hey beautiful", he croons to the young lady at the counter. "I'll take a coffee to go, and can you add your phone number to that"
She melts into a puddle on the floor.

A man in his suits hastily and haphazardly walks into a cafe. A waitress runs into him , trips and spills coffee on his shirt. The man shouts at her as he grows increasingly frustrated. " I am so sorry sir ' she says obviously humiliated and embarrassed by it. Everyone looks around. The atmosphere is tense. A staff runs towards them to make amends.

Hierophant reversed

It was the first time after a decade since Ryan and June were meeting Jim after they got married.
It was forever since she had loved him. Her heart sank when she saw him after years, and so did his. They both sat quiet with the continuous feeling in their hearts for the first time in years. Something grew between the three of them . Ryan's heart grew strongly uncomfortable. Something had to be said in that forced silence. He felt dead inside as he placed the orders.
