What do you think about Scorpio?

Scorpio is known to be the most difficult sign in the Zodiac. What are your thoughts at this point? How do you find this sign? Are/were you in relationship with the Scorpio person?

My rising sign is scorpio. I have a hard time getting along with scorpio women. I'm friends with a few scorpio males. I have always read about the intense scorpio "stare" and pursuit when they are attracted to someone… I have definitely seen that characteristic in the male scorps I know! I don't know too much about female scorps though.

One female scorpio I know had some really negative experiences and feedback from her supervisors in our school/work place and she took it like a champ. She discussed what happened to her to our group and maintained her cool. Everyone in our group said her experiences would have caused them to drop out of the program or cry like a baby. I was amazed at how strong she was. Kind of scary how emotionally strong she was actually.

I have Scorpio rising and moon, Scorpio is also my dominant sign along with Virgo, and Pluto my dominant planet. I have a Leo sun. Let's just say I'm a little enigmatic, a deep thinker, enjoy solitude and silence and in fact need a fair amount of it to recharge my intense energies, (energies that are always bubbling down below but few ever really see).

I'm passionate but not easily moved by emotion, in fact I would say control is my middle name. Not controlling others but myself, thus others hold little power over me as to allow this would be for me to be out of control of myself. I will take a back seat and allow others to control things, observing the whole picture and foreseeing certain problems arising, I will give clues to these potential problems and try to get others/the leader to see for themselves the problem, yet usually they do not listen and then I step in to solve the problem or just before it becomes a problem I step in to the leadership position and use my intensity to take over the situation and avoid the problem. I can be labeled some pretty harsh words at times, but after the problems are seen by others, they don't have much to say, and wonder how I foresaw them. It is usually then that the clues I was dropping the whole time begin to be understood by those I was giving them too. This is radically hard to describe, and this is not ego, but a deep seeing, an intuitive foreseeing. I am always working behind the scenes helping others to avoid problems/conflicts, and yet few really grasp this, nor am I trying to get recognition for it, its just the way I'm wired. I see things/situations/potential problems others do not. Scorpio is known as the disciple, which is also the disciplinarian.

I am a natural psychologist (of myself) yet I can see through others relatively easy as I observe them "from a distance" so to speak, I sense their actions and words and let my intuition reveal them to me. This is hard to explain, but, I'm a phenomenal listener (silent minded) and a word smith by nature, so I hear the meaning (what others words are pointing to within themselves) behind others words that many miss. I'm a natural investigator, radical enquirer and enjoy intensive study, although I am a bit burned out having spent several years in such.

I don't know the word "can't" it doesn't exist for me, as I will find a way to do things that others say cannot be done, especially at work, I operate from the "I will" standpoint but this is more a Leo trait than Scorpio I think.

Supposedly Scorpio's are radically old souls, and I do feel this way, not arrogant, but that somehow I've been here many times before and that somehow I don't belong here any longer. I am not caught up in or moved by what "the world" is caught up in, (money, power, sex, titles, materialism) don't get me wrong I work and enjoy life, have material things, but I am more into truth, into understanding the depth of being, into a simple, natural way of life. I don't take this world too seriously, but I take my own contentedness and peace or mind very seriously..in a sense. I care very deeply for humanity as a whole, and try to convey some deep knowledge/understanding I have/see, but it seems often I am misunderstood or I speak at too complex/deep way for many to understand. Again this is not an ego thing, I guess more my own limitations or lack of explaining things simply.

Real life scorpions sting only out of defence and you have to be really aggressive to irk them. I think they have had a bad rap.

Every spring I visit the beautiful forest and it is full of mosquitoes and deer flies. If they weren't there to protect the tender young shoots, they would be trampled underfoot. All these lowly creatures have a special job in our fragile ecosystem.

Scorpios can't help it if they come across as "difficult". They are only doing their job. It's a dirty job but somebody's got to do it.

The scorpians I know make good company and get the humor of the cynical Capricorn. ( mind the generalizations). I read scorps are the most sexual in the zodiac too. How is that if anyone wants to chime in. Just curious!

I think it is Linda Goodman who says that the only other sign that can give Scorpio's a run for their money when it comes to sex and promiscuity is Sagittarius. I had a Scorpio professor once and he had an affair with one of the students and ended up divorcing his wife. I have seen a few male Scorpios who were not very faithful. But I have also seen some who have been very faithful.

I'm interested in a Scorpio's take on sex as well!

I am a Scorpio and we get a bad rap. There is more to us then our sun sign. This is true for everybody. Scorpio's are extremely loyal and we will not chase you around to sting you for the fun of it, but if you threaten us our those we defend then we will sting. Scorpio is also personified by the eagle and can soar to great heights. The modern ruler is Pluto which is power and transformation. That is frightening.... Scorpio relates to the 8th house, that is about sex, death and other peoples money.....Scorpios do have that smoldering sexual energy but the type of sex we are talking about is the deep dark well. That is where death, sex, and taxes are the common theme.

A Sagittarian is Sporty. Sex is an activity. With Scorpio's it is much more intense because sex is the gateway to the other realms. That is how I see it. I am a Scorpio and sex is not a sport. It is either the real thing or a danger. When you have sex with someone you blend your energy. I don't want to blend my energy with just anybody. I guess if someone is not sensitive to energy then they wouldn't be bothered but with a Scorpio sun and an 8th house moon, sex is not a casual affair. Sex and sex are not the same thing. One is an activity, and the other is a doorway. The kind of sex that Scorpio is about is the doorway. I am sure plenty of Scorpios have no idea about any doorway and are more superficial and less visceral. That is the reputation but it is misunderstood, at least some of us take it seriously.

As for getting along, it really boils down to Water and Earth signs like the Scorpio, except for possibly Taureans, that could go either way.

Every sign has their annoying characteristics, and they each excell at something. I might find a compatable sign annoying in some ways but I still like them..In fact I like every sign.

In the Vedic astrology system, Kalapurusha is the spirit or personification of Time. Each of the houses and their associated signs corresponds to a part on the "body" of Kalapurusha. Scorpio and the 8th house corresponds to the "private parts" (see diagram):

This is because the 8th house signifies hidden things, things underground. It also follows the 7th house, house of marriage, so that's why the association with sex. Also the 8th is a house of moksha (liberation) and has to do with Kundalini beginning to rise from the sexual CHAKRA (Kundalini is sexual energy, which at an incarnate level has to do with procreation).

In Vedic astrology, the 5th house is about romantic relationships and the 12th house is the house of bed pleasures - so really Leo and Pisces are the ones who are about having sexual desires. Scorpios are just doing their duty to make babies and protect babies...and about transformation and rebirth

I am Taurus, the earth sign, salt of the earth, lover of all good things, peace, luxury, music, art , a happy no nonsense sign. I have had intense relationships with Scorpios ( water ). Since both water and earth are strong signs, they resist each other but cannot dilute the other. I am the bull, stubborn, fixed about my view and unlikely to change them, I am not likely to play any complex games. I am straight to the point, practical and its either a yes or no for me, like no games. With scorpios that I have met earlier in my life, they were very intelligent, almost as if they were walking one step ahead of me or were extremely clever to give that impression even if it was not true. A female friend I had in school, I knew her for two years and she maintained a perfect poise around me, making me believe she was my friend, until I think the last time I saw her, unable to embrace her feeling of guilt or insecurity and lashing out at others. People I knew were not very fond of her, she was not popular with either boys or girls. Although she made some scary moves as a result of it. She dated a new guy every few months and her choices were rather unusual devoid of any conscience or feeling of having any consequences as a result of it. I think she gave an impression rather than any real quality behind it, lots of lies and definitely to hide her own insecurities. She made me believe she was harmless when she befriended me, calling me late hours and even bringing me drinks. We talked for hours about everything. I was warned by others about her, but being a faithful person I did not realize that she could have very different intentions that were not as clear as mine. Not loyal at all and not a person you would want as best friend if you want to have a healthy relationship with anyone.
Another guy I knew since the 8th grade. People told me he liked me.I never talked to him, or responded to him because we didnt share same classes and we had busy schedules , even if we were in the same school. It was in college my junior year, I added him through a mutual friend on facebook. He had a list of around 500 people and he narrowed it down to like 100 in a day. He publicly told his best friend who was a girl, or gf who was around him since like they were kids, to leave him alone publicly. It was like just before I added him he was sending sweet messages to her and just the day after that he changed . The exact statement he used on her was " God why cant you leave me alone ? " I told my friends about it and they did not believe me. Then he began to update statuses from my blog. There was a blog I used to write it was called Life is beautiful, so he went on his twitter and said that to a girl " Life is beautiful isnt it ? I did not trust this guy at all. He never directly told me he liked me. My facebook got hacked, my emails were being read before I read them. Someone even began to talk to my friends with details about my life , no one would have known , like no way. But I started to dislike him, because there was a lot of mind games he wanted to play. It was disappointing. He never directly walked up to me and said anything, but he added my friends, people I knew and he had no connection to them. He never however told them anything about me or even asked them about me. So I do not know what he wanted exactly. Except he began to look like a fool after a while. If he had directly approached me , he would have a chance perhaps lol. I never understood why anyone would have so much time and energy to play these stupid mind games.

I only realized from these two experiences back in school, that they were not faithful people and probably not people you can have uncomplicated, happy relationships with. The chose their friends, and judging from the above two scorpios they had a history of using people for their own gain.

Another scorpio I know right now, he is a little different. In the beginning I sensed some tension and I kept my distance but I discovered that he is not corrupted. I have had open conversations with him , because the taurean that I am, there is no hanky panky around me. I am honest and I do not think I have anything to lose by being clear. And he reciprocates just fine without changing himself or trying to please. He is just is the way he is. However uncomplicated, no ways lol. He has never married and never wants to marry. He is going to be 40 this year I think. He says he does not want to spoil any girls's life by marrying her, since his purpose in life is different. He is pure and I believe a good guy. He looks plain, rather like a capricorn, the hardworker in that sense. He is good and pure, but not gullible.
Another, a cousin who is a scorpio as well, he is handicapped. Ever since he was a child he did everything on his own. He wore his won shirt, he picked up his own bags, he tied his won shoes. I have heard of his violent temper, because he was bullied in school I heard. He is still very very determined and doing extremely well for himself. He fits in with everyone else, even better perhaps.

All of the above scorpios I know were bullied when they were younger and they fought through it and build a different reputation around them. So they are more than determined I think, they are intense. Either they are really good, or they are not . They are never in between, and yes always more than intelligent for good or not so good reasons.
If scorpions feel threatened by you, they will burn inside till the very end. They cannot regain themselves unless they have let it out.
( Pisces) There are signs like the ones born in March, that are forgiving and sweet and can look deep into your soul. They are peaceful , respectful and wise in a non threatening way.
Sometimes Virgos can be vindictive as well, but their sense of justice is exceptional and no matter what they are usually sound in the moral sense. It is never tainted and they reason very well about everything. I have come across virgos , leo who are popular with people. When they talk people shut up and listen . Even if they are competitive , others can sense they mean well. So they make good leaders. I know a virgo who is very loved by his friends. He is entrepreneurial, ambitious, very textured and refined, but it is something when you see him around his friends. They treat him as if he was their God, their best friend. Even his rivals sometimes cannot help but start to love him. When he got married, his friends and colleagues , got so emotional they started to hug him and cry. His friends carried him on their shoulders and began to celebrate. I was there and it was quite something to watch. His sense of justice is exceptional ( Virgo ). There are also other signs that restore harmony among others.
One of my best friends, who is a taurus herself, very proud, talented, gifted in voice music, artistic, her father is wine merchant from Columbia, her mom owned a restaurant, so love for food and lesiure ofcourse. Very proud and very protective, posessive about her friends. She spent a lot of her time with children, charity, she was a special ed major. She would drive strangers to places, she would help foreigners, she would selflessly give without expecting anything. Her standards were always high, refined , careful and no matter what, she was always loyal. She either was attracted to someone or not, and very straight. She would not compromise her standard for anyone, she believed in being kind and doing her job. I like that, not because I am a taurean myself. Sometimes we both had a stubborn streak about ourselves haha, but we almost always quickly recovered from it as well. She was a good person and she has now build a solid, good, foundation for herself. She went to teach at a school as an assistant teacher, and the high school students loved her so much, they interviewed her for a local newspaper, just in a few months after she had joined. That is admirable.
I have known saggitarius, I have known two important people in my life who were Sagi. They are fun loving, out going, make friends, are upto silly mischief most times. They are always in a jolly mood, will find humor in everything, and have an open take on life. They will hurt and get angry if someone pushes them towards the edge and will fight back regardless, but the one good quality about them is that they are very accepting and liberal. No matter what, no matter how much they have fought with you, even if you are their biggest enemy, they will most certainly cool down soon and will think of the best in you. One of my teachers/mentors was one. She was less of a teacher and more of a friend to me. She would switch from being serious to freely laughing . She would find humor in things that were scary in truth and I would also feel different about things later. They are probably more elusive, and do things for fun , still they are friendlier, more reliable and want to develop sincere relationships with you.

Every sign has their strengths, weakness and karma . They all have their own purpose and they are all right where they need to be.,

They say if a scorpio gives you an impression that they are non threatening, you need to be very careful about it, well that is true ! Saying from my own experience.
