Smile A Blog on Nonviolence

Hello everyone,

My name is Johnathan and I'm new here. I have a strong passion for Buddhism, Hinduism, Zen and other religious philosophies, so I'm really excited to have found this forum. Yay.

Also, since this is one of my first posts on spiritualforums, I hope no one minds me sharing a link :)

I have been keeping a blog on nonviolence and peaceful social activism for a few years now. I wanted to share it with like-minded people. I would love to be able to create discussions and dialogue about these issues, especially from members of this forum who also have a passion for nonviolence and other unique eastern religious principles.

Anyway, here's the link: http://nonviolenceblog.blogspot.com/

Since this community specifically focuses on spirituality, I'm very interested in hearing opinions about how religion plays a role in modern applications of nonviolence. I guess this would be especially relevant for Buddhists and Hindus (since those religions strongly preach nonviolence), but I truly welcome anyone to participate, regardless of your religious background.

Thanks again everyone! I look forward to being a part of this forum :)

- Johnathan
