Christianity is simplified Hindusim
The basis of all religions is cultivation of virtues like Truth etc. and its practice in life. While Hinduism encompasses all the 26 virtues, Christianity concentrates on 3 virtues viz Love, Mercy and Selfless service.
Actually it is not necessary to worship any God, if you can cultivate these 3 / 26 virtues. However worshiping God makes the cultivation process easy. Most Indians worship Rama as he is the embodiment of all 26 virtues ( ref. NBLA ISBN 9788190950237 PP 129 -130 ) Christ did not name what God is to be worshiped. He summarized most of the 26 virtues into 3 for conducting life.
There are 13 Malice like Falsehood, lust, violence etc. Any religion that endorses even a single malice like animal sacrifice in its doctrine, it become's a Devil's Cult.
The best of all and confusion free, is the Religion of Science that implies remaining Truthful under all circumstances.
