Tarot cards, Rider Waite: can I exterminate a rat?

I want to know if Kyle will contact me before I go back to college this September. I don't like him, I want him to message me so that I can show them to his girlfriend so that she can see what he's like. I asked the cards "Will Kyle message me?" I got 9 of swords first and Page of swords to clarify followed by 6 of cups.

Just tell me, will he?

I am a bit rusty, but get the sense of a self sabotage here, by involving yourself in this situation your only hurting yourself(burning bridges). I would continue to ask questions, for example, the repercussions of involving yourself.

It is interesting how the Rider-Waite depicts the 9 of Swords involving contact with only three of the them. The other six swords may therefore be seen as total figments of the imagination. But then there appears the 6 of Cups - like a subtle warning - as if tapping into a party line you may hear something not to your liking.

Consulting the higher arcana there may be more to the Page of Swords than meets the eye.
Perhaps the Page of Cups is more truthfully accurate instead, (with respect to the girlfriend).

With the current phase of the full moon, reflection and ethics is vitally important.
Exterminating a rat may bring satisfaction but is there collateral damage to consider?
Is the result worth the emotional cost?
