your enviroment. maybe its lifetimes or just this one. which is why i put an effort to roll philosphy in my mind to stay clean. i enjoy looking at things from multiple angles. question things. i watch almost no tv except history and some educational. i differentiate whats real from what is propaganda. i look at the fears of society and ask myself are they real.

In dissolving the "I" there is no one left to become one.

I had plenty of awesomely weird experiences but of course the mind wants to make it into something spiritual or special. More and more i'm beginning to appreciate the negative, not so cool experiences much more so than the awesomely more positive experiences. Though both are necessary.

I feel almost everyone has had such experiences whether they pursue spiritual practices or not. Particularly if you are out in the world a lot. Being around nature can provide many wonderful experiences.

Great way of looking at it - everyone else would be the same as me if they had behind them what I have behind me and vice versa.

It simply means transcending the surface "I" of body-mind to the deeper "I" of awareness. In essence that's the highest goal of all religions and spiritual practices.
